Upload / import

My resume won't upload or parses wrong.

  • Use a standard PDF or DOCX. Very complex layouts (multi-column, tables, text boxes) can parse poorly — that's also what ATS struggles with. Try pasting the text directly, or simplify the layout.

Generation

Resume generation failed or timed out.

  • Try again — occasional AI timeouts are retried automatically. If it persists, shorten your strategy text or simplify the job description, then retry. The result is missing a section.
  • Make sure your profile has content for that section (e.g. add projects/education). The generator won't invent content you didn't provide.

Scores

My ATS score seems low / changed.

  • Scores are computed against the specific job you paste — different jobs give different scores. Focus on the missing keywords and formatting risks it lists. Scores are estimates, not guarantees.

Account & billing

I hit a usage limit.

  • Free plans have monthly limits. Upgrade to Pro/Concierge for more, or wait for the next cycle. See Plans & Billing. Billing question / payment issue.
  • Manage everything in Settings → Billing (upgrade, cancel, reactivate, update card). Failed payments retry automatically; update your card to resolve. See Billing & Plans FAQ.
